About the 2010 Annual "Friends of the Fair" Campaign

We are grateful to you, the many people and organizations that have chosen to support the Dundas Fair Association. The Dundas Fair Association recognizes that sponsors who support the Fair are more important than ever.

Our annual "Friends of the Fair" Campaign for the Dundas Fair is underway for 2010. In order for the Dundas Fair Association to continue to provide the best possible programming and facilities to host regional and community events and profile Island products and businesses, we need your help.

I would like to tell you why it important to support this year's "Friends of the Fair" campaign.

For 2010, we are:

• fund raising to enhance our seniors' ceilidh hall/dining room
• expecting over 14,000 people to attend our events
• promoting "Buy local - buy PEI"
• featuring heritage performers, local artists and artisans
• hosting several major events
  • weekly seniors' ceilidhs
  • numerous community events
  • Provincial Plowing Match & Agricultural Fair

There are many challenges facing PEI. More than ever, sustaining our primary industries and our rural communities is a challenge important to all Islanders and businesses. We need your help to continue to profile and promote the agriculture sector and to promote a "Buy local - buy PEI" campaign.

Donations to the "Friends of the Fair" Campaign will be recognized in the following way:

• sponsors will be identified during the Fair (August 27-29)
• announcements made during sponsored events
• on the "Sponsors' Wall" in dining hall
• on sponsor posters during events
• in our Annual Report
• on our Web site
• in our fair program (deadline April 17/2010)
• major sponsors identified in our flyers

We invite major sponsors to display their banners during our events through the year. For a complete list of ways to donate, please contact us.
